Fall Carrots (Yum) and Xmas Plans!

Hello! So last Spring we planted carrots..they didn't turn out so well. 

We tried again this year! You betcha they grew well...actually they grew great.
They are rather large..and are really delicious. So much better than those...store bought orange something...I can't really call the store bought carrots..carrots anymore.

                         We will be heading out to Massachusetts for Christmas! I'm really excited. Myrtle will be coming with us so we'll board her up in a nice place. She got all her shots(poor thing hated the poop sample part) and we just need to crate train her so she isn't all over the car. But then Plan B is we might have the house sitter that is planning to take care of Love can possibly take care of Myrtle.  Can't wait! 

 We are going to use the carrots in a Fettuccine Alfredo (which from taste testing is MUCH better than Olive Garden's and much cheaper).

O! The Holiday Gingerbread-Women

 'Tis the season to be baking.
Using a delicious holiday
recipe for gingerbread-men, we've
made a Christmas must! No holiday
is complete without the perfect cookie
to go with it. 
Every year, my sisters and I look 
forward to the mass of delicious cookies we make with our Grandma. There is always 3 small bowls of M and M's left over for us and cookie dough galore!
We're not a Massachusetts yet
and so these were the items that 
would hold us over until the holidays.
