Spring is on it's way!

Sitting at the kitchen table around 10 o'clock sipping Roastaroma tea and eating some angle food cake leftover from the night before, you can hear the birds chirping happily that Spring is finally on it's way, promising an abundance of wine berries, lettuce, and so much mor

  Speaking of which, we've started some seedlings in the Den. 4 little trays of seedlings, two of which are ready for the cold frame outside. The trays contain Basil, Deer Tongue, Kale, Leeks, Southern Giant Mustard Greens, Tatsoi, lettuce, tomato, and eggplant. But in our garden under the greenhouses we have spinach, chard, kale,onion, garlic, peas, and mache.
